We have finally received our official wedding photos back and I am so excited to share some with you in my blog post series. In this second post, I want to share my beautiful dress and bridal accessories with you.
If you missed the first post in our series, you might like to it check out here… Our Wedding Day: The Flowers.
The Bridal Boutique
Laura (Mrs Jones Bridal Boutique) married in 2009 and realised that there was a niche in the market for a premium boutique in Berkshire’s Newbury. She went on to open Mrs Jones Bridal Boutique, a private and relaxing bridal shop, offering a stunning collection of wedding dresses and accessories.
Laura and I, first connected over Twitter. I saw a tweet about her dress sample sale and booked an appointment for that weekend. I had never seen Laura’s boutique before and was over the moon when I arrived at her beautiful shop in Weavers Walk, Newbury.
After a quick consultation with Laura, she checked through her dresses and chose a few for me to look at. I eliminated the dresses down to two and went up to the fitting area to try them on.
The first dress that I tried on, the Hollister by Enzoani, was incredible and I decided there and then that it was ‘The One’. My dress was actually the first wedding purchase that we made and probably one of my easiest ever. Laura’s dresses are out of this world and she knew exactly which would suit my style and figure.
The Dress – Hollister by Enzoani
The Hollister is a modern style dress in the Blue Collection by Enzoani. The chic and sweet A-line tulle gown has a romantic sweetheart neckline and delicate floral hem lace. Drawing attention to the waist and the decolletage, this dress will suit all brides of any figure, particularly the pear-shaped brides, like me.
The Blue collection by Enzoani is all about innovative and modern designs, offering an extensive choice of fabrics, shapes and silhouettes to captivate and inspire the modern bride.
The Wedding Day – Dress Reveal
One of my first requests to the photographer was to capture a photo of the dress reveal with my Dad. It was a very magical moment on the wedding day and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

The Bridalwear Accessories
During the ceremony, I wore a beautiful two-tier veil with lace applique edge (see above images).
For the evening celebrations, I swapped the veil for a wedding dress belt for some extra sparkle. Beautifully detailed with sparkly crystal rhinestone and silver seed bead, set upon a pretty satin ribbon.
My bridal shoes were vintage inspired Ivory satin ‘Dahlia’ by Pink By Paradoux, with a round toe and cute bow detailing. They were amazingly comfortable with special memory foam and soft cotton lining, which mean’t that I was able to wear them all day without any trouble.
For my something blue, I purchased some personalised vinyl stickers for the soles of my shoes. I also wore a personalised blue and ivory coloured garter.
The Jon Richard collection was my choice of bridal jewellery. The necklace was a cream pearl twist necklace with a rose gold fastening. The bracelet, was a cream pearl row bracelet with two rose gold and diamante bars.
My headpiece was a vintage inspired, rose gold side tiara from Tantrums and Tiaras. The pearl and diamante cluster effect really sparkled and completed my bridal look beautifully.
So there you have it, the bridalwear. What do you think? I truly loved my outfit and felt incredible all day long. THANK YOU LAURA xx
