STAND magazine is a new and quarterly printed magazine for men. Here is our review:
The magazine’s appearance is really impressive. The paper is of good thick quality and the content is clean and very easy on the eye. Both the text and imagery stand out nicely and are spread well throughout. The photos make a statement and capture the content’s message quickly at a glance.
This is a tasteful and stylish men’s publication, which has been given a huge amount of thought. It’s content is powerful and thought provoking, to name a few:
- Articles – Male depression, sex trafficking in the US and dignity at work.
- Campaigns – Against domestic violence and on being a good dad.
- Quotes – “The most wasted of days is one without laughter.” – e.e. Cummings
Fear not, there is also some humour throughout, charming words of wisdom, reviews on books and music etc and so much more. There is plenty of variation for any reader.
STAND is a magazine for men who live the Japanese proverb
“fall seven times, stand up eight.”
I love that the magazine is not littered with advertising. In fact, there is hardly any at all, I had to go back to look for it. It was also refreshing not to find a single indecent image throughout, unlike your usual magazines for men.
This is for anyone looking for a quality and inspiring read over the usual stereotypical nonsense aimed at the male market. Its for those of dignity and respect who aim to be good and better men.
