Unfortunately, my anxiety is preventing me from leaving the house today. I should be doing last minute Christmas shopping but I really cannot face opening that front door.
So today, for my kindness challenge, I need to do something super simple. I am going to show some love to the little birdies who visit our garden.
We always keep bird seed in the shed, ready for us to visit the ducks. I thought that Jack might enjoy putting some out in the garden for our local birds to feast on. I’ll be sure to make sure we top up the seed regularly too.
Birds may find it difficult to find natural foods such as berries, insects, seeds, worms and fruit during this cold season. Therefore, any extra food we can put out will help.
Here are some tips from the RSPCA, on how to care for the creatures that visit your garden during winter.
