This Christmas will be our first as a family of four and we plan on making it a special one. We have decided to welcome an exciting family tradition into our home, someone sent by Santa from the North Pole. Meet Kevin, our Scout Elf.
Kevin the Scout Elf brings with him some Christmas magic which allows him to fly to and from the North Pole each night. His job is to monitor our behaviour and report back to Santa Claus to help him manage his nice list.
Each morning, when Kevin returns home, he will land in a new place and bring with him a new surprise. It will be up to us to find him and see what fun he has in store for us.
The idea of this tradition is to create some memorable and magical Christmas moments for all the family to share.
Kevin joins us this week during Scout Elf Return Week and will stay with us until Christmas Eve. This week, he will be sending the boys on a Candy Cane Hunt around the house. He shall also be bringing them some special treats to enjoy in the run up to Christmas.
Feel free to download our Candy Cane Hunt PDFs here ~ Candy Cane Hunt Form / Candy Canes (print x4).
You can visit The Elf on the Shelf website for some fun inspiration or maybe, you’d like to adopt a friend of your own?
We hope you will join us on our Elf on the Shelf adventures and we wish your family loads of fun if you have an Elf joining you too.

December 2, 2016 at 9:56 amThis is the 2nd year now I’m not doing the elf because my oldest knows about santa and my youngest is too young. Not sure if I miss it or if I’m relieved lol, looking forward to seeing what Kevin gets up to!
