For me, choosing our wedding suppliers has been one of the most exciting parts of the planning process. Whilst it is very time consuming and a little overwhelming at times, it has been lovely getting to know our suppliers and bringing together plans for the big day.
With this in mind, I want to share with you our dream team of fabulous suppliers based here in Berkshire. They have been most helpful and have made the whole process very exciting.

Allium Design Company – Floral Stylist
Karen, our floral stylist, is out of this world. Her knowledge and experience really is beyond compare and I am so excited to see what she comes up with for our big day. With tiny input from me during our first consultation, Karen has been able to put together the most beautiful of ideas for our floral arrangements.
Karen is the in house florist for The Vineyard Hotel, a 5* luxury hotel and spa venue in Berkshire, whose guests expect only the best, and Karen certainly exceeds all expectations.

Cakes by Cocochoux – Fine Cake Maker
Laura’s cakes taste delicious and her cake creations are seriously impressive. Her experience speaks for itself and I love how nothing is too much trouble for Laura.
I presented Laura with an image of a cake that I loved and Laura was able to come up with some ideas to make the cake suit our theme and colour scheme all the more. I cannot recommend her enough.

Mrs Jones Bridal Boutique – Bridal Boutique
Laura married in 2009 and realised that there was a niche in the market for a premium boutique in Berkshire’s Newbury. Laura went on to open Mrs Jones Bridal Boutique, a private and relaxing bridal shop, offering a stunning collection of wedding dresses and accessories.
My dress was actually the first wedding purchase that we made and probably one of my easiest ever. Laura’s dresses are out of this world and she knew exactly which would suit my style and figure.
The first dress that I tried on, was beautiful and I decided there and then that it was ‘The One’. Excitingly, I noticed that the dress was recently featured in the May edition of the Wedding Ideas magazine. That’s a good sign, right?

The Mulberry Bush – Craft Supplies
The Mulberry Bush is a family run business located in a beautiful converted Barn within Thatcham, Berkshire. The crafts shop was opened by Cate in 2010 and supplies quality products required for the creation of stunning wedding stationery, home decor and paper crafting projects. Regular weekly workshops are held in the pretty workshop area within the barn.
I had met with Cate a couple of times previously at local wedding fairs and found her to be very helpful and friendly. After lengthy crafting conversations with Cate, I promised to visit The Mulberry Bush for some of my wedding stationary.
The shop was like a tardis, huge on the inside and full of supplies – it’s a crafters paradise! Cate was full of clever ideas (as expected) and I was able to pick up plenty of products to create some lovely DIY wedding decor.
If you are Berkshire based and a keen crafter, do be sure to pop-by and visit The Mulberry Bush.

This Life Photography – Photographer
We met James, our photographer, at a wedding fair this year and immediately knew that he was the photographer for us. He was clearly very passionate about his photography and the work that he had on display was just beautiful.
James has many years experience photographing everything from portraits, weddings and sunsets to insects and baby toes.
We recently had our pre-wedding photo shoot (read our blog post here) where he was able to capture some stunning images of our family. The photo shoot assured us that James, is the perfect photographer for us.
