As wonderful as pregnancy is, we all know how difficult it can be at times and how the simplest of things can make everything seem a whole lot better! So here it is, my pregnancy wish list and what with Mother’s Day being just around the corner…
My back is already feeling the strain from bump no.2 and a relaxing massage is right up there at the top of my wish list.
MATERNITY SUPPORT BELT
My separated tummy muscles hadn’t fully repaired following my first pregnancy so my back needs all the support it can get. A support belt is definitely on my priority list as bump is huge already at 25wks.
The only clothes I have at the moment that fit are on a permanent wash and wear cycle. I feel pretty drab most of the time and could do with some new clothes to give me a feel good boost.
This time round, I will be at my largest during the summer months so the maternity knitwear and bottoms that I have are unlikely to be any good.
My boobs are expanding at the speed of light and my bra’s are feeling very snug, not even my maternity bra’s from previous fit now. I find it really difficult to find a well fitted bra during pregnancy and as they are so expensive, I’m always a bit dubious about picking them up, bra’s and all.
I’ve not had my hair cut in over a year now and have taken to cutting my own fringe which is a dangerous game. My mum dyes my hair for me using the box dyes off the shelf and long gone are the days when I could afford to spend over £100 on a cut and colour in London. My hair is well overdue a tidy-up and a good cut always makes me feel loads better.
I’ve been getting increasingly uncomfortable in bed and a new pregnancy pillow would be perfect right about now. I love the look of The Original Theraline Pillow Range.
I didn’t see the need for a 4d scan when carrying Jack but this time, I just really fancy one. I’ve seen quite a few of them recently and would love to see ‘Baby Dot’s’ face already.
I hate my photo being taken at the best of times but would love some nice photos of ‘bump’ and our family whilst I’m pregnant. It’s likely to be our last baby and so I won’t get another chance. I got hardly any photos when I was carrying Jack so I want to make the effort to get plenty this time.
CANVAS PRINT OF SCAN PHOTO
I didn’t realise you could get these until recently but I think they are gorgeous. I would love one each of Jack and ‘Dot’ to hang in the living room.
I was given a gorgeous photo frame as a gift when I was pregnant with Jack and I’d love the same frame for ‘Dot’. It has 3 windows which I have placed Jack’s 1st scan, 2nd scan and first photo in.
Regardless of whether they are must-haves or would-likes, a women can dream, that’s the whole idea of a wish list after all.
Can you think of anything I may have missed?
