Now everyone loves a bargain and I cannot help myself in the pound shops… kat’ching!
Quite often I’ll pop in for a couple of items only to fill an entire trolley of bargains and spend a small fortune in doing so.
Here are some of my favourite and regular buys found in the pound shops…
1 – PowerPlast Pregnancy Tests (Double Pack) – I have used these pregnancy kits for both my pregnancies and both times they showed up positive within a few days of conception. 99% accurate, simple to use and results show up fast!
2 – Branded Cosmetics – You’ll find some make-up gems from Maybelline, Max Factor, Rimmel, Revlon and some other big brands. I’ve picked up a good few items now and love the nail varnishes!
3 – Nuby Simply Range – I came across these, this last weekend and was really impressed. The range includes weaning products, bathroom gadgets, bibs, soothers and beakers plus more.
4 – Wonka Candy – I fist pumped the air when I first saw these in a pound shop! They were my favourite sweets back at school and can be expensive in larger stores or candy shops.
5 – Less Mess Floor Mat – These are brilliant for protecting the carpet during food or crafts time. I buy these in bulk.
6 – Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask – This leaves my hair feeling lovely! No residue left behind and smells gorgeous!
7 – Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment – Feel free to buy it in the larger stores for triple the price if you like but I’d rather not. This smells gorgeous too.
8 – Simple Anti-Perspirant Roll-On – I tried this by chance and call me Swetty-Betty no more! This leaves my underarms feeling soft, I never sweat and its easy to wash off. Far better than Sure, Dove and Nivea in my opinion.
9 – Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Wash – This is almost £5 to buy in the larger stores! I love this face wash.
10 – Old Spice Deodorant (for
old Men) – I hear you laughing but I bought this as a joke for my OH once and it’s all he will wear now. He swears by it and ladies, it smells gorgeous! Forget the Lynx-effect, try a bit of spice in your life.
