Have you heard of Post Pals? This wonderful small charity invites members of the public to send cards, letters or little gifts, to seriously ill children and their siblings to make them smile and feel less isolated.
For Day-4 of my Kindness Challenge, I want to help spread the word about the charity.
There are many ways to get involved in Post Pals and it couldn’t be easier! In less than 5 minutes you can make a child smile… and for some of the children it might be their only smile that day. It’s that simple!
Here are ‘3 easy steps’ to show you how simple it is to send post:
- Click on Find Pals, select a child and read their page
- Send a cheerful card, letter, email, or even a gift to the child via the address on their page
- Sit back and know that a child’s day will be brightened because of YOU

Our family shall sit down together this evening and write Christmas cards to some of the children supported by Post Pals. We shall include some fun stickers along with their cards with the aim to make their smile a little bigger.
The Love of a Captain blog shall also display a Post Pals banner in its side bar throughout December, in an attempt to raise awaremess.
Why not spare some time to post a smile today? Find Pals here.
