We were recently sent some infant dental care products, to try with Jack and Hudson. Brush-baby have designed a brilliant range of products especially for the teeth of babies, toddlers and young children. They take into account their tooth development, habits and brushing skills.
Hudson has just turned 8months, and his bottom two teeth are just starting to show.
We have been using the brush-baby Dental Wipes for the past few weeks to clean his gums, and he hasn’t been fussed in the slightest. In fact, he quite enjoys chomping down on my finger.
The wipes help to remove food and milk deposits and as a result, reduce the build-up of bacteria, including those that would cause tooth decay.
We was also supplied with a My FirstBrush and Teether Set, to assist with his teething troubles and the care of his first teeth. We shall be introducing the set to Hudson this week, now that his teeth are making an appearance.
The toothbrush has gentle bristles, a small head and a long handle. Its unique shape helps you reach back gums and teeth.
The teether is made with soft silicone bristles which help to massage gums and clean first teeth while it is chewed. I like that it can be cooled in the fridge or used with teething gel to soothe teething gums.
Jack was sent the Baby Sonic Electric Toothbrush, which I have to say is pretty cool. It’s a shame that baby-brush don’t make aduItsized brushes too because I’d love one of these.
Jack has no problems using this brush and has learned to continue brushing until the timer tells him to stop. The brush is battery operated and has a 2 minute light timer and 30 second pulse reminder.
The brush has soft vibrations, a tiny brush head and soft bristles which makes it ideal for keeping baby teeth and gums clean. The pack includes two brush heads, one for babies aged 0-18mths and also, one for toddlers aged 18-36mths.
We was also given some Applemint flavoured toothpaste suitable for babies of 0-2yrs. It smells divine and I’m pretty sure that Jack would eat it if he could.
Brush-Baby Teething Toothpaste is specially formulated with Xylitol and Fluoride and so reduces sugar acids and helps strengthen tooth enamel. The toothpaste is paraben-free and also contains camomile to help soothe gums during the teething stage.
